Following the success of his debut film The Legend, which earned widespread acclaim in theatres and on OTT platforms, renowned entrepreneur-turned-actor ‘Legend’ Saravanan has embarked on his second major cinematic venture. This ambitious project, produced by The Legend New Saravana Stores Productions, is being directed by R.S. Durai Senthilkumar, known for his blockbusters Kakki Sattai, Kodi, and the recent hit Garudan.
The yet-to-be-titled film, a grand-budget production, promises a captivating storyline aimed at appealing to audiences across various demographics. Bollywood actress Paayal Rajput has been cast as the female lead, with a talented ensemble including Shaam, Andrea Jeremiah, Baahubali Prabhakar, Santhosh Prathap, and Baby Iyal taking on key roles. Additional prominent stars are also set to portray significant characters in the film.
The first phase of shooting was successfully completed in Chennai, with the second phase currently underway in and around Panikka Nadar Kudiyiruppu, Thoothukudi, Saravanan’s hometown. Future filming is scheduled to take place in diverse locations, including Georgia, Mumbai, and Delhi.
R.S. Durai Senthilkumar’s previous film Garudan was set in Theni, and this new venture is expected to deliver an action-packed, thrilling experience inspired by real events in Thoothukudi.
The film boasts a top-tier technical team, with music composed by Ghibran, cinematography by S. Venkatesh, and editing by Pradeep. Art direction is handled by Durairaj, and Ambikapathi serves as the executive producer. Costume design is overseen by Deepthi, with stills by Suresh, poster design by Dinesh, and action choreography by Matthew Mahesh. The production is being managed by Munusamy and R.S. Govindarasu, with Chinnamanur Sathish as the production executive.
Currently in the midst of a brisk shooting schedule, Legend Saravanan’s second film, produced under The Legend New Saravana Stores Productions and directed by R.S. Durai Senthilkumar, is shaping up to be a highly anticipated release.
