Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala recently shared amusing insights into their relationship in a candid interview with Vogue India. The couple, who tied the knot in December 2024 in a traditional ceremony, playfully teased each other while answering lighthearted questions about their bond.
During the conversation, the duo was asked about their cooking skills. Chaitanya quipped that neither of them really cooks, to which Sobhita countered, “Every night, he makes me hot chocolate.” However, Chaitanya dismissed the notion, responding with a chuckle, “Hot chocolate, coffee—these aren’t cooking. These are basic human skills, which you don’t have.” Sobhita, in turn, sarcastically replied, “Greatly appreciated.”
The banter continued when the pair was asked who is more dramatic when sick. Chaitanya pointed at Sobhita, but she disagreed, claiming, “When I’m sick, I’m sick harder, but he is the one who is more dramatic.” Chaitanya, in a humorous retort, added, “When you are sick, you are fainting, collapsing.” Their playful exchange continued when discussing who apologizes first, even when not at fault. Sobhita claimed it was her, but Chaitanya reminded her, “You don’t believe in saying sorry or thank yous.” To which Sobhita playfully responded, “Pyaar mein no sorry, no thank you (There are no sorrys and thank yous in love).”
In another moment of witty repartee, when asked, “Who is more likely to get a parking ticket?” Chaitanya immediately said, “Obviously me,” only for Sobhita to chime in, “I don’t drive,” before adding with a smirk, “I just drive him crazy.”
The couple also revealed how their love story unfolded. It all began when Chaitanya was the first to follow Sobhita on social media. Their first date was a simple breakfast outing, marking the beginning of their journey together. In December 2024, the couple got married at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a venue rich in cinematic heritage. Founded in 1976 by Chaitanya’s grandfather, legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, the 22-acre property in Banjara Hills holds deep sentimental value for the actor’s family. The wedding reportedly spanned an eight-hour ceremony, incorporating traditional rituals and cultural customs.
On the professional front, Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Meanwhile, Sobhita continues to captivate audiences with her performances on screen. Their candid and affectionate exchange in this interview gave fans a delightful glimpse into their dynamic and fun-filled relationship.
