After a prolonged wait filled with multiple postponements and intense anticipation, Power Star Pawan Kalyan‘s magnum opus ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ has finally locked a firm theatrical release date — July 24, 2025. The makers made the announcement on Saturday, June 21, via social media, declaring: “Witness the Battle for truth, faith and freedom in cinemas worldwide on July 24, 2025.”

The high-budget, pan-Indian historical action drama, which has been in the making for several years, is directed by A.M. Jyothi Krishna, with creative supervision from Krish Jagarlamudi. Initially slated for March 29, 2025, the release was postponed several times due to post-production delays, particularly involving complex VFX work. The team has now confirmed that all departments are in the final stretch of production.

Set against the backdrop of the Mughal Empire, the film portrays the tale of Veera Mallu, a heroic outlaw who dares to defy the tyranny of Aurangzeb’s imperial regime. Pawan Kalyan takes on the titular role in a never-before-seen avatar as a fierce rebel warrior. The film aims to blend historical grandeur with action-packed drama and emotional depth.

Opposing Kalyan on-screen is Bobby Deol, essaying the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, while Nidhhi Agerwal plays the female lead. The supporting cast includes notable names such as Anupam Kher, Jisshu Sengupta, Nargis Fakhri, M. Nassar, Sunil, Raghu Babu, Subbaraju, and Nora Fatehi in a special appearance.

The film’s visual landscape is being brought to life by cinematographers Manoj Paramahamsa and Gnana Shekar V.S., while K.L. Praveen takes charge of editing duties. Acclaimed art director Thota Tharani adds his signature grandeur to the film’s historical settings.

The soundtrack and score are composed by Oscar-winner M.M. Keeravani, whose previously released songs from the film have already garnered widespread acclaim. His powerful, emotionally resonant music is expected to play a key role in enriching the film’s narrative depth.

Produced by A. Dayakar Rao under the Mega Surya Productions banner and presented by veteran filmmaker A.M. Rathnam, Hari Hara Veera Mallu will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, making it a truly pan-Indian release.

With the official trailer expected soon, anticipation is once again mounting for this historical saga that has tested the patience of fans but now seems poised to reward it with a grand cinematic spectacle.

Stay tuned as the countdown begins for what could be one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious period dramas, combining star power, stunning visuals, and a tale of rebellion etched in the sands of time.
