Continuing its winning streak after the box office successes of GOAT, Love Today and Dragon, AGS Entertainment has rolled out its 28th production. The new film, tentatively titled AGS 28, was launched in Chennai today with a traditional pooja ceremony. The banner, led by producers Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh, is known for producing big-budget blockbusters as well as trendsetting films with debutant talents.
Star Cast and Debutant Director
Designed as a wholesome family entertainer, AGS 28 will be helmed by debutant filmmaker Subash K. Raj, who previously apprenticed under Love Today director Pradeep Ranganathan. The film features veteran actor Action King Arjun in the lead, alongside Abhirami and young actress Preithy Mukundhan.
The supporting cast is equally strong, with Vivek Prasanna, John Kokken, Arjun Chidambaram, Pawan, Dileepan, Vinod Sagar, and Bala Hasan R playing pivotal roles.
Ravi Basrur’s Tamil Debut
Adding to the excitement, Ravi Basrur, the celebrated composer behind the high-octane soundtracks of KGF and Salaar, will make his Tamil debut with this project. His music is expected to bring a unique edge to the family entertainer.
Crew Behind the Camera
The technical team for AGS 28 boasts experienced names. Cinematography will be handled by Arun Radhakrishnan, editing by Pradeep E Ragav, and art direction by Veeramani Ganesan. Stunts will be choreographed by Phoenix Prabhu, while costumes will be designed by Dinesh Manoharan.
Archana Kalpathi serves as the Creative Producer, with Aishwarya Kalpathi as Associate Creative Producer, and S.M. Venkat Manickam as Executive Producer.

Produced by the Kalpathi brothers under the AGS Entertainment banner, AGS 28 officially commenced in Chennai today and is set to go on floors immediately. With Arjun leading the cast, a debutant director at the helm, and Ravi Basrur making his Tamil debut, the project is already generating strong buzz in the industry.
