Actor Vishal has officially revealed the first look of his highly anticipated film Magudam in Tamil, which will also release as Makutam in Telugu. Directed by Ravi Arasu, the film has already captured the spotlight with its striking first-look poster featuring Vishal in three completely different avatars, hinting at an action-packed and layered storyline.
The poster showcases Vishal in a flamboyant, retro-styled don persona on one side, a suave and sophisticated elder figure in the center, and a sharp, corporate professional on the other. This triple-role revelation has sparked widespread curiosity among fans and cinephiles, who are eager to see how the film weaves together these contrasting shades of the actor.
Sharing his excitement on social media, Vishal said, “We completed the second schedule back in Chennai, and there are more surprises in store. This is one of the most exciting projects I’ve worked on, and I’m thrilled to reveal it on an auspicious day.” He also extended festive greetings on the occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi while expressing gratitude to his team, including action choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan and cinematographer Richard M Nathan, for their relentless efforts.
Produced by R. B. Choudary under the banner of Super Good Films, Magudam marks Vishal’s 35th film and the production house’s 99th venture. With GV Prakash Kumar composing the music, audiences can expect a power-packed soundtrack that complements the high-octane action sequences.
The unique triple-role presentation has set high expectations, with fans praising Vishal’s versatility and the stylish execution of the poster. The film promises to be a mass entertainer blending action, drama, and music, poised to make a strong impact in both Tamil and Telugu cinema.
As excitement builds, the first look of Magudam/Makutam has already raised the bar, positioning the film as one of the most ambitious projects of 2025.
