Tamil cinema’s versatile star Jai is set to headline an exciting new project titled Worker, which officially commenced today with a grand traditional pooja ceremony in Chennai. Produced by Primuk Presents, the film brings together a stellar cast and crew, generating strong anticipation within the industry.
Directed by Vinay Krishna, Worker promises to be a drama rooted in realism, blending emotional depth with engaging storytelling. The filmmaker expressed his confidence that the movie will resonate deeply with audiences, offering raw emotions, gripping drama, and memorable cinematic moments.
The film pairs Jai with actress Reshma Nainah in the lead roles, while comedian Yogi Babu adds his signature charm in a pivotal character. The ensemble cast also features Nagineedu, Bharath Kalyan, Praveena, Sreeja Ravi, Sasi Laya, and Venkat Senguttuvan, further strengthening the project’s appeal.
Backed by producer M. Shobana Rani under the Primuk Presents banner, Worker boasts a strong technical lineup. Cinematographer Anji will bring the film’s visuals to life, while acclaimed composer Gibran has been roped in to deliver the music. The film also features stunt choreography by Ganesh, costumes by Prathibha, and makeup by Sakthivel. Public relations are being managed by Sathish Kumar of S2 Media.
Following its grand launch in Chennai, Worker is set to begin its shooting schedule in Puducherry, with an intensive production plan already in place. The makers have promised more exciting updates, including first-look posters and exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpses, in the coming weeks.
