National Crush Rashmika Mandanna is all set to headline a grand Pan-India action entertainer titled Mysaa. The film, bankrolled by Unformula Films, marks the directorial debut of Rawindra Pulle and has already caught the attention of fans with its striking first-look poster. Mounted on a massive budget, the movie aims to position itself as a large-scale cinematic spectacle.
The launch event took place with a traditional pooja ceremony attended by the core team. Celebrated producer Suresh Babu gave the clapboard, Ravi Kiran Kola operated the camera, while acclaimed director Hanu Raghavapudi handed over the script and took charge of the honorary muhurtham shot. The regular shoot began in August in Hyderabad, with Rashmika joining the cast from the start.
Set against the rich and culturally vibrant backdrop of the Gond tribes, Mysaa promises to be more than just a high-octane action thriller. It aims to blend raw emotions with riveting action sequences in a unique tribal setting. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar — portraying a Gond woman with fierce intensity and layered emotional depth. The gritty, blood-stained first-look poster has already sparked intrigue, showcasing the actress in a powerful and transformative role that is far removed from her previous outings.
The technical crew assembled for Mysaa further raises expectations. Cinematography will be handled by Shreyaas P Krishna, who recently worked on Suriya’s much-talked-about Retro. Stunt choreography comes from internationally acclaimed action director Andy Long, who shot to fame with his work on Kalki 2898 AD. Unformula Films has also teased major upcoming announcements, including the reveal of the music director, keeping fans on edge with anticipation.
Speaking about the project, industry insiders note that Mysaa is expected to push Rashmika Mandanna into uncharted territories as a performer. The film will not only appeal to her fanbase across the South but also strengthen her position as a Pan-India star, especially with its tribal action-thriller narrative that breaks away from conventional formats.
With its combination of cultural depth, emotional gravitas, and large-scale action, Mysaa is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious female-led action thrillers in recent Indian cinema. Fans and trade circles alike are eagerly watching as the project unfolds.
